I grew up in Brown Deer, WI and attended Grafton High School. From there, I was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 34th round of the 2010 draft. Instead of signing, I elected to go to Wabash Valley College (JUCO) from 2010-2012. After my sophomore season, I received a scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi, where I attended from 2012-2014. During my senior season, I was selecting in the 24th round by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2014 draft. The last 6 seasons I have progressed through the minor league system with the most recent years at the AAA level (2018-2019).
