Coach Abundiz plays first base and serves as a pitcher for Bryant Stratton College in Milwaukee, WI. She is a graduate of Stevens Point Area High School, where she led her team to the state sectionals during her senior season as a pitcher. She also received First Team All-Conference honors as a pitcher.

With over 10 years of playing experience, Coach Abundiz has played for teams such as BATS Academy, the WI Bandits, and Central Wisconsin Edge. Currently, she is collaborating with Beckham Little League to inspire a love for softball in younger athletes in Milwaukee, with a particular focus on pitching development.
